Skate Stance Polarities ~ ‘There’s a Yin and Yang in everything.’ 🔥☯️🔥

Here’s a fun way to conceptualize the stances and how they are polarized in the brain. ~ Yin & Yang ~

Regular and Goofy:

Regular = ‘YinYang’

Dominate / Left front leg:
Right Brain Hemisphere (yin)

Technical / Right back leg:
Left Brain Hemisphere (yang)

Goofy = ‘YangYin’

Dominate / Right front leg:
Left Brain Hemisphere (yang)

Technical / Left back leg:
Right Brain Hemisphere (yin)

The right side of the body is predominantly controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain and the left side by the right hemisphere. You’ve probably heard of the unique natures of each hemisphere so you can apply that perspective too imagine the potential differences this creates.

I have not verified this as fact but something to consider and was excited to share the idea with you!

Never really studied how brain works and it sure is weird how it works lol! One would expect right brain hemisphere to control the right side of our body but no, haha!

polarity is one of the universal laws I have study the most, it's so interesting how it works on our brains and interpretate this in a skateboarding stance makes it a pretty fun way of learn about this for extreme athlets, excelent post @dylhep 💯🔥
