The Dallas Mavericks post All Star Break 2024

Just a brief background, I am a fan of the Dallas Mavericks primarily because of the 'Wonder kid' Luka Doncic. The Mavs are on a 6 game winning streak entering the back stretch of the NBA season, they are currently sitting on 32 wins and 23 losses team record which is currently good enough for seventh seed on a very tough western conference. With recent acquisitions of PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford, it addressed their biggest issue which is the lack of size and hopefully with the team getting healthier as they are getting most of their players (Maxi, Lively, Exum...) back from repeated injuries throughout the season, I can sense that they are primed for a big run. So I will be making a prediction of their team standing and seeding.

I have watched their games about 95% this season.
Listed below is their remaining schedule and I will make a prediction for each game as to which team will win, I will use opponent strength, player personnel and team record as my criteria. I will also highlight must win games for seeding tie breaker purposes:

21W - 6L - This will bring their record to 53W - 29L This may be good enough to make the playoffs as the 4th seed.

This prediction is barring any major injuries to the Mavs and hopefully this can get Luka the respect to be considered as a true MVP contender!

Do note that I am not an NBA analyst but simply a fan enjoying the games. I will check in and update my post as each game goes by.
