RE: How moving can help you earn cryptocurrency with Move2Earn

Fuck all of these apps, actifit is at least somewhat useful, but still, I'm not about to go telling you fuckers where I live and workout.

All of them mine your data and sell it.

All of them profit more from your data than you profit from giving it away freely and happily.

All of them are, essentially, scams.

It's 2022 for fuck's sake... haven't you guys been paying attention?

You definitely have a point there... But I'm afraid that this concern goes waaaaaaay beyond these fitness trackers. Nearly every "Google logged in" smartphone is sharing all its locations, the whole time... Same for Facebook/Instagram/...
It's a price that people pay for the convenience and joy (sik) of the smartphone etcetera.
At least these apps pay a little back to you.

I get what you're saying but at least with Google, I have a known unknown quantity of craptastic behavior.

Adding more layers of vulnerability to my life with these apps, with little payout, hurts me more than it helps me.

For instance, I've used all of these apps (never could afford the NFT sneaks in Stepn but I still tried the app). After the first day having the sweatcoin app, I noticed my tv ads were different on hulu, my ads coming into my inbox were different and the ads coming to my phone through brave changed also.

It's probably astonishing how much data is packaged and sold

You bet! I've been working in BI and Bigdata for big companies for the past few years, and yes, it is painful to see how much they know about you, and how everything around you is tailored to get you to spend more money...
