Today turned out to be a big day, and it was an amazing match between Nigeria and South Africa.

It was a toxic match, and it was also something to really talk about. I feel the Nigerian football team players have brought smiles to the faces of lots of Nigerians with their amazing performances today.

I could see the joy in the faces of lots of Nigerians today. You could obviously tell the joy and true love we have for one another in our country, Nigeria.

Despite everything that's happening in the country,we still love and care for one another. I can't deny that fact about the citizens.

As our anthem says, [one nation bound in freedom, peace, and unity]. You could see the joy and happiness on the faces of lots of citizens of the country. Even people who weren't opportune to watch the match still shared the love all over the internet.

I don't think I have ever been this
Emotional, or happy and filled with joy about my country to this stage, I felt this night. I was so happy the football team was able to make us all proud and also put a big smile on our faces tonight.

At first, I felt we were going to be beaten by the South Africans, or rather,it was going to be a draw kind of match at the end of the day.

I never saw it coming this far,to the extent that it had to get to the level of playing penalties to decide who the winner is going to be between the Nigerian team and the South African team.

It was a toxic match today,and I could see how lots of Nigerians were supporting and cheering up their owns till the die minutes of the match, where they finally declared us the winners of the game.

I'm so happy we made it to the finals and weren't being flogged by South Africans. It would have been a pain in our ass as a country as a whole 😅.
I literally don't watch football matches on a normal day, but I was forced to today. which I literally had no idea how I sat to watch the match.

I had to suspend every single thing I was engaged in at that moment just so I could focus on watching. And I'm so happy it was worth it at the end of the day.

I'm so proud of the team players and Nigerians as a whole. I don't think I've seen Nigerians this supportive in a long time now than they've been tonight.

We hope to have more achievements and more wins to boost as a country that works hand in hand as one nation bound in freedom, peace, and unity.
