Local Legend surveying storm damage
Yesterday was boring, so let's talk about Sunday the 27th. I didn't post about it yet, because I was distracted by the war.
I went on a bike ride on the local backroads to see whether the trees were holding on during the storm Eunice.
Not all of them survived. So it goes.
Other trees lost branches.
The water level in this one particular polder was high. It must have rained here more than in other places.
Afterwards, I received a funny message from Strava: I received the title of Local Legend, simply because I've been on a road that goes nowhere more than anyone else - 3 times in 90 days. It's a nice bike path between a castle and a golf course, at the bottom of this map, but it's cut off by the highway.

We lost some trees around here, including one of ours. I have been local legend on Strava too, but only because I do several sprints up the same hill in a session.
