Red Line Protest in The Hague
On Sunday, I went for a walk in The Hague, along with 150,000 other people.
This was the Red Line protest for Gaza, the largest demonstration in the Netherlands in the past two decades.
An overwhelming environment for an autist, but the atmosphere was friendly all day. I left home early and returned late, so I could travel in a quiet train.
I rarely join a protest, but demanding our government to stop supporting genocide was a good reason to take to the streets.
If you want to start whataboutism, don't bother because I heard all forms already after my post in Dutch on X received 9,000 views. I didn't post much about Gaza here because the full story would be too long. I'll just focus on this message now:

Well done on getting out. People feel strongly about the suffering. There's too much of that in the world.
Thanks. Sometimes I feel hopeless, but today, our government took the small step I was expecting them to take because of this protest: they'll support personal sanctions against the most extremist Israeli ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir.
