My Actifit Report Card: October 7 2023
Today didn't go too well. My Mom had a fall and sprained an ankle. This happened in the morning as she was preparing to go to the farm. I think she missed her step because I heard her screams while I was getting ready to join her. By the time I got to her, she was lying on the floor, her leg was twisted in an akward angle. Lifting her was another herculean task, she has bulk, doing so without causing her much pain was even more difficult.
We eventually were able to get the local orthopaedic who treated her amidst screams.
I think this incidence took its toll on today, it was just a very gloomy day for me because my Mom was in pains all through.
But I feel better now because I know she'll be fine.
