MY PASSION FOR SHOTOKAN KARATE & TAEKWONDO

Loyalty, decipline, courage and hardwork, these valueable life lessons were learnt in the Dojo. My passion for these sports did overwhelm the huddles and trying times of learning. I encountered this sport and could'nt let it go because I caught the "SPIRIT OF KUMI'TE" interpreted as the indwelling fighting instinct. It is generally belived that this special experience keeps alive and fans aflame passion and unstarifying desire for perfection in the art. My foremative years meet me in the dojo, among many this I can say that Culture was imbibed, as daily training involved complete obidence in actions, positive and responsive conduct on and off the dojo. My Passion drove my attention to obey leading instrutors, be devoted and always giving undivided attention during self defense seasions, obidence to anyone and everyone leading seasions and demo practise, I was cultured also on dress code in dojo, my attitude and character was molded as I journey throught these exciting sport.

AQUENTANCE
In my tender age, I found martial an appealing sport thanks to Jacky Chan and many other movies centered on the art. I was able to contend my likings for the art not until I watch a superlative display of courage and dicipline from a movie titled "Best of the Best", being 11 years of age, there and then I was swept off my feet and decided to adopt martial art as a sport.

I was fortunate to have other young persons with liked minds who where into the sport. As at then, Shotokan Karate was newly introduced into Nigerian Sport Festival, a new sport that caught the web across Nigerian youths, the sport was embraced with passion and love. I was so thrilled being able learning an art, I was joyful to be part of something special. I felt a sense of belonging to a special gruop of person who poccess special abilities.
