En la tarde de este sábado el Deportivo Táchira FC, se enfrentó a Mineros de Guayana, en encuentro que culminó con victoria del aurinegro con marcador de un gol por cero, con tanto del ecuatoriano Renny Simistierra, quien es el primer jugador de esta nacionalidad en vestir los colores del amarillo y negro.

On the afternoon of this Saturday, Deportivo Táchira FC faced Mineros de Guayana, in a match that culminated in a victory for the aurinegro with a score of one goal to zero, with a goal from the Ecuadorian Renny Simistiera, who is the first player of this nationality to wear the colors of the yellow and black team.

El Deportivo Táchira lució dominante durante la mayor parte del encuentro, aunque ha carecido de contundencia en la definición es una tarea pendiente y sumamente importante ya que el marcador ha podido ser ampliamente superior a favor del aurinegro y no lo pudieron concretar, las proyeciones constantes de Richard Figueroa y Yerson Chacón eran el principal medio de ataque en los primeros minutos del cotejo, que alimentaban a los delanteros Edder Farias y Renny Simistierra.
