For some reason ugly things, like really ugly things, tend to be quite beautiful and fun.... like pugs... these poor genetically deformed animals, so far removed from the mighty woolfs that their ancestors were, would not survive in the wild by themselves... They are ugly but then so cute, so fun... Wonder why this is?? 🤔

The reason, I think, is in the natural human predisposition to protect what is deemed defenseless or inadequate, which produces sympathy for these funny animals!

I guess that is the same reason we like babies... They are sort of defenseless and inadequately equipped to deal with the world, so we have to defend them.. hmmmm
