My Actifit Report Card: November 15 2020
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
We headed out to church this morning. Chad gave the sermon today and it was interesting. He preached on how when we follow Christ, we are changed daily.
Afterwards we headed home and made preparations to head out for shopping. I found it interesting that our governor chose 11 am to have announcement that beginning at 12:01 AM Tuesday morning, new lockdown measures were going into effect. This is to be for the moment, for the next 4 weeks. If Covid conditions improve, he may release the restrictions then. If not, I’m not sure what his plans are. What I do know is no more dining at restaurants. No bars to be open. Grocery stores to limit number of customers in at a time to 25% capacity. No social gatherings from outside your home unless people are quarantined for 14 days before OR quarantined 7 and have a negative Covid test. The list goes on, but one that is close to my heart is the restriction of live worship teams. This means that we’ll be doing FB live from home again.
Anyway, the long and short of it is that our shopping expedition was to try to purchase what we might need for the next 4 weeks in order to avoid going into Bellingham. I think we were successful. Costco, Walmart, Winco and Dollar Tree, whew !.....are we done yet?
A weakness of mine!
We thought we were going to have a beautiful day for hiking as the sun was shining all morning. Ironically about the time we would have headed out for a hike, the heavens opened up and it poured......for hours! Yes, we got soaked quite nicely going from parking lots to stores and back to the car again! ☔️☔️☔️

MMmm dark Chocolate! At least I got post Halloween sweets sales stocked up before they close everything down again.

There must be an increased number of cases, for your governor to do that! Goodness!

I know what you mean. However, it seems all of Whatcom county was out and shopping. We've not had to stand in line to get into a store in a long time, and at Winco, the check out line wrapped all the way down the main aisle, and hung a left all the way to the deli counter! Even back when this thing first started, we never made it to the back of the store where today's left turn was! Craziness for sure. I'm not sure how places like Lighthouse Mission are going to handle their annual Thanksgiving dinner they provide for all the homeless as there are no social gatherings. Take care sis!🌸💕😘🤗
