My Actifit Report Card: October 31 2021

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Halloween!🎃💀👻

Our day began with yet another power outage! That makes 7 so far for October with one more scheduled for tonight. Keep in mind the other 7 were NOT scheduled! In all the years we’ve lived here, we’ve not had this many in an entire year! Crazy!!

So after we got ready, we headed out to church for worship practice and then the service. It went well. The only blip was that our pastor who had Covid in his house 2 weeks ago, came sick with a sore throat. Not the wisest choice, me thinks! 😷

We headed out for a hike. It was a stellar day with sun and a bit of a strong breeze. Perfect hiking weather. I found a ladybug on a tree fungus.

I went ahead and hiked the entire 6 mile trail although I might be going to pay for it. I’ll have to see if it irritates my back or not.

Once we returned home, I spied the sun shining on the Japanese lace leaf maple which set off the scarlet fall color nicely.

Tomorrow is planned to go to Costco to stock up on some staples. Perhaps we will have a mini hike later in the afternoon.
