My Actifit Report Card: November 18 2021

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by today!

Another cleanup day at work. The phone lines are working a little better but it’s still hit or miss. It’s awfully humid inside; almost like walking into a sauna! We are going to see some patients tomorrow, but my computer power supply is toast and it will limit my functioning off of the main server computer. I’m on my own for all duties so it could get interesting!

An update on the missing father of 4: they found a male body in a wooded area close to where the man’s car was. They believe it to be that of the gentleman I told you about on my previous post. How sad for his family! IF ONLY he’d not driven past the road closed sign; if only he’d called 911 asking for help. If only he didn’t feel like getting out of his car was what he should do. His car was found almost on the road he’d been driving on. Too many ‘if only’s’.

It was raining again today and I’m sure everybody was thinking will this bed enough to turn the floodgates back on?

As bad as this all seems, I will look for the positive in this. People are brought together to help one another, and just that alone will benefit all. New people met; friendships forged; strength and endurance one might thought they weren’t capable of. There is sadness and loss, but picking up the pieces and moving forward will be a positive thing. Life isn’t always easy but it’s well worth the effort.
