My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2021

Hi everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Today dawned amazingly with sunny skies! I thought for sure there must be some mistake! It was a nice respite from the original forecast, however they are calling for 2 major storm systems for Saturday and then another on Tuesday. We are expecting precipitation in excess of 5” on already water soaked land and rivers and streams that have just barely gotten below flood stage from the floods we had over the past couple of weeks. It’s like adding insult to injury! 🙄

We went to town to the post office and once home, headed out for a hike. It wasn’t as sunny as it had been but it was still good weather. I actually found some new ‘shrooms to share.

The texture is quite interesting!

After the hike, I made a couple espressos for us to enjoy and relaxed for a few. Then we pulled out this………..

Yes folks, it’s that time of year again! Although undecorated thus far, it’s still pretty and adds much needed extra light for the shorted days of the year. 🎄🎄🎄

Now, if I can just get the rest of Christmas under control! I’m not really going to sweat it as it’s not about all the shining lights and packages. It’s about God’s love for us and the gift of His Son. 😇

Going back to the weather-we will have to wait and see about the rain and a hike for tomorrow. Plan B would be to ‘hike the stores’ for a few needed items. Hopefully everybody is over the Black Friday insanity by then!🤪
