My Actifit Report Card: November 27 2021

Hi everybody and thanks for stopping by!

I’m showing you this picture from the flood 2 weeks ago as it’s very much on our minds tonight. You see, it’s raining again. Not just a little but a lot. They have issued an evacuation for both Everson and Sumas as they are expecting a second flood. Our church service has been cancelled. It will air via Facebook live-our home for the worship and our pastor’s location for the sermon. The only way anyone can attend any of it is via Facebook.

I ask tonight for prayers for our communities as they face this threat once again. So many have already lost so much and were just trying to get the rebuilding started. 🙏🙏🙏 Thanking you in advance, for this.

Our day began really early once again due to crypto stuff that needed doing within a certain time frame. Once done and ready for the day, saw us headed to Everson to get the propane tanks filled for the coffee roasters, as I have another customer order. Soon I’ll let them know that final date to place an order will be December 5th for this year, and we will resume roasting the 1st weekend after January 1st.
Then upon returning the tanks home ( you might ask @silvertop about that 🙃) we headed out to do a little Christmas shopping.

And it continued to rain☔️☔️☔️……..

We weren’t sure if getting home was going to be a problem or not. The bridge over the Nooksack river is compromised, so going over it for us, is only done IF absolutely necessary. It’s open but to one lane at a time, one way. Smacks of a bridge disaster from previous years we experienced. Instead we took the long route home through Lynden, but was uncertain of a particular stretch of road where the water was close to it when we left. Now, it was 5 hours later………

We made home safely and wait to see what the fallout will be for the communities.

We practiced a recording of a modern version of Silent Night and posted it to Facebook. Through the process, we discovered the equipment we used back at the beginning of Covid on 2020, wasn’t working and had to come up with plan B. Fortunately plan B worked and it’s good enough. God just wants us all to worship Him! 😇

Thank you @industriousliv! Things went well, but I know that viewing, at least for the sermon (couldn't see the worship part as I was kind of busy, lol) there were only about 15 people who watched. However, I also know some will watch later, and a lot of them are not in their homes right now due to the threat. I thank God for technology and the ability to reach folks when in person church fails. Thank you for stopping by and for the pizza, wine and beer! Take care!

Another big dump of rain by my place too.
May have Silverd510 change my 18th Century Frigate plan to an Ark plan.
