My Actifit Report Card: December 29 2021
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
We awoke to temps in the teens-a virtual heatwave for sure, lol! I headed into work and was honestly surprised at how bad the roads were. Obviously closer to home was more sketchy, but even traversing South Pass was not good until you approached town.
Work was fairly quiet; it’s the end of the year and no appointments, but the phone was a bit busier than usual. Tomorrow should be similar.
At the end of work, I needed to drop a library book off that’s due back by Friday; go to the grocery; go to the post office and most importantly, gas station to fill up my somewhat empty gas tank. Why you ask? Well by golly, we’re under another winter storm warning expected to dump another 4-6” of snow! That should make going to work oodles of fun! I wanted the gas to add weight to the car! Then Saturday, we’re gonna do it again with 1-3”expected. I’m not really stressing too much, but it would be nice to have pavement back again. The problem here is that when it warms up, all this snow will turn to ice. There are places it could take a couple of weeks or more to melt. I’d rather drive on snow than ice any day!
Here’s to another nice evening in front of the fire with my best friend @silvertop! Do I have to go tomorrow, honey?

Saludos @elizabethbit. He leído varios de tus post. Me sorprende cuánta nieve ha caído, creo que yo no soportaría tanto frío. Soy de Venezuela, aquí es casi imposible estás temperaturas tan bajas. Y digo imposible porque, con este tiempo tan loco, nunca se sabe. Un abrazo 🤗
Never say never! We saw 108 degrees Fahrenheit this past summer and I would never expect those temperatures this far north!
