My Actifit Report Card: June 8 2022

I went to work earlier than usual. I needed to get insurance verifications done so I could work on activating the new alarm system that @silvertop and I installed Sunday afternoon. Before I could do that however, I had to do a software update first. There was one for the base unit and one for the keypad 🔢. It went easy and was done ✅ quickly. Then I set about choosing our monitoring plan and providing credit card 💳 info and just like that- I was good to go.

We decided since it was going to be a busy patient day, to put it through some paces after we closed in the afternoon. We were booked and it was a busy day, plus I had some walk in patients needing to pick up or purchase. It was busy!

So-after we closed, I armed the alarm as if we were just ‘home’. Then I opened the door and the keypad started beeping. I ignored it as if I were an intruder; then the sirens went off, the video camera kicked in and both the doc and myself received texts on our phones. I shut it off! Whew!! 😅 very LOUD! The doc has the maiden voyage of setting it for tonight and I’ll get the first un-arming of it in the morning. I really like new tech and I especially like to install it, figure it out and when it doesn’t work as it should, troubleshoot it. 😁😁😁
