Yes it’s candy night for lots of kids tonight. We won’t have any trick-or-treaters as we are too rural here. The neighborhoods down in the valley will be the place to be! Our church ⛪️ is hosting a trunk-or-treat night in the parking lot. I imagine that will be fun!
The first pic was of some intense clouds up north towards Canada. We were headed to Lynden, and although you can see the blue skies in the picture, it was overcast as the sun ☀️ was behind another dark and grey cloud ☁️ bank. It was rather odd. See @silvertop’s post for some interesting lenticular clouds ☁️
He needed some parts for the gateposts, so True Value Hardware was the place to be. This store is unique in that it’s not just a hardware store!🏬 You can find all sorts of unique gifts and household items as well. I found a cute little stuffed hedgehog 🦔 that fits perfectly in the hedgehog 🦔 coffee ☕️ mugs I found. I’ll have to go back to get a second one to make the mugs match. So cute!
We came back home and did a little work on the gatepost lights and then headed up for a hike. Jan came with. We headed up to the off grid cabin. THE HILL, as I call it, is very steep and a great workout. Jan hasn’t been up it in weeks so I coerced her to come up. We’d stop if she needed to. She made it with no stops! Nice! Then we headed back down.
The bears 🐻 have been literally shaking the apple trees to get the apples 🍎 according to Keith. He’s set a game cam up to capture the action. There’s not too many apples 🍎 left on the 🌳 but there is PLENTY of 🍎 pie 🥧 bear scat laying around! LOTS!!🙀

I finally downloaded the garage door app and it’s pretty cool! Here’s a screenshot of it.

Only 12 little adorable kids at my door. My boys have long out grown it except me. It's fireworks time, which means it's the bigger kids time.
I turned down another OT shift, I need rest!
