Morning in North Bend! No, that’s not the first pic-more on that in a moment.
We woke up desperately needing coffee and food. So we set out for the local Safeway grocery store 🏬 and purchased some foodstuffs for breakfast and lunch.
The first photo is the lake where our son and his father in law went fishing yesterday. Simply beautiful!🤩
This next one is of a swan that had flown just four feet over his head! He said he couldn’t react quick enough to catch it in flight.

@silvertop was gracious enough to take a couple of specific pics I requested. We got stuck in a 5 mile long gridlock traffic jam coming home. 🏡

We are back home now and other than that super long gridlocked traffic jam, which by the way, was not a result of any accident, it was an uneventful drive. There was nothing other than maybe some looky loos slowing down to see whatever they were looking at! 🙄
Tomorrow will find me roasting coffee for a customer and also for myself. I’ve got some clinic mail that also must go tomorrow as the post office was closed Friday.

Yes, we did stay overnight. It was colder there in the town home; no wood stove; just a fireplace. I am so used to wood heat, lol! Take care sis!😘💞🤗🌸

Ironically, if you are talking about the kitty by the fireplace, that is our son's and daughter in law's town home. Banjo is their kitty who is blind and currently home alone while they visit her parents in Hungary. We went down to give him some kitty love and companionship. Next weekend, another person is going to go do the same. It was a quick trip down and back.
Their place is nice, but for my tastes, I prefer more warm colors; natural wood tones, etc. It's been a hectic week with inheriting a dog for 3 weeks and a 250 mile round trip to go there and visit Banjo. It seems lately that life has been giving me a lot to navigate. I don't really see a time of rest much until after Christmas.
