'Tis The Beginning Of The Season..My Actifit Report Card: November 23 2022
‘Tis the beginning of the season! More on that in a minute…..
I headed to work to a busy day! We were booked and even had a before hours appointment for an eye emergency. We ended up with one cancellation but it was easily and quickly filled. Everybody was coming in to pick up as well, so it made for a lot of people coming and going. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, there was also a sense of anticipation that this was the end of the workweek as well. I was seriously trying to keep up with all of my duties so that there was little to nothing pending for next Wednesday! I got 99% of it done. Yippee!!👏
We got a ton of pics from Hungary 🇭🇺 today. Some would be self explanatory, but others, I have no idea where they were specifically or what some establishments were called. Enjoy!
This last photo, I would say, is from the top of the Ferris wheel. They are due home on Sunday. I’m sure these last few days will be kind of hard knowing they’re leaving soon.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody as tomorrow’s the day! 🦃🍁🍽️ Friday is the beginning of the Christmas shopping season! Me-I’ll not be caught in the craziness! Too much humanity trying to get through the store doors, lol. I’m happy to wait for some of the frenzy to abate. 😎👍

Is it true that eating too much turkey gets you sleepy?

Hey sis! Yes and no! Turkey contain Tryptophan, which does promote a good night's rest, but they also say that the high volume of food intake plus the time of year all add up to make us sleepy after a meal like this. I say, cave to the nap!
Hungary does have a lot of diversity in the land; more than I first thought. They've done some serious trekking over the past 2.5 weeks.
When I came home tonight, you should have seen Phoenix! You would think I'd been gone forever! I've learned to get my coat off and put my purse down and try to get to the couch before she completely knocks me off of my feet! At that point, it's all slurpy doggie kisses for about 10 minutes until her frenzy passes and she can think again! I don't quite know what to make of this, as Bill had told me she was, and I quote, 'a man's dog'. Ha! I don't think so! Makes me wonder what will happen when she goes home. Do you think she will miss me? Next month, there is Christmas at their home, so it will be interesting to see how she reacts when we arrive! I AM going to miss her too!

They said it was really high up as I asked just how high. They didn't know exactly.
Same. I can't measure a height just by merely looking. But for sure it can give a nice view of Budapest up there.
