Beautiful Blue Skies.........My Actifit Report Card: March 5 2023

Beautiful blue skies!

We set out for church early this morning and honestly, I must have been so tired, I don’t remember if the sun was shining. But, boy was it when we left!

Technical difficulties today with Facebook left me and another scrambling, trying to figure out what was going on. First we were training Ryan on the house sound for his first run at that. His son Mason, though young, was doing Facebook live. He’d done it before and did a stellar job! He came early and got it set, but somewhere between then and about 30 minutes prior to going live, the system froze. So Sally who has been running it, rebooted the system and got it set. My first indication that things were not as they should be, was that instead of the normal 30-45 seconds delay, we were looking at like more than 2 minutes. When the worship team began, I checked listening to it and all seemed well. Soon though, I could not get it to stream on my phone. I first thought maybe it was the internet connection, but did a speed test to over 100 mbps, so that wasn’t it. I know Facebook has limitations and settings you can do nothing about, so I’m guessing that was the issue. Unfortunately it won’t replay either, so the broadcast was a complete loss. Sad for those folks at home.

So, when we left, I was surprised to see such stellar skies as you see in the first picture!

We set out for a hike at 3 PM. Jan came with.

Some brave little buds trying desperately to grow and claim it’s spring! (in the background is an iced over pond).

The sun continued to shine, making the hike very enjoyable. It’s been a while since we’ve had any sun to speak of.

The sun as it begins to wane and head for the horizon. All in all, despite the technical challenges earlier, a very nice day!
