What's This?!........My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2023

What’s this? No, I’m not talking about the beautiful blue skies an the sun in this next photo.

Beautiful-isn’t it?

That was the start to our day. The pictures were taken from our church’s parking lot.

Church was nice and things went smoothly this Sunday. Ryan is coming along with the sound training well and in a couple of weeks, we will leave him to it. He knows we’ll be there if he runs into issues, but I think he’s got this.

So upon returning home, we found a big box at the front door. It was from the company we’d been working with to get a replacement for the defective espresso machine. Trouble was that the box was not marked as an espresso machine.

What’s this? Maybe they just put it in a bigger box…….

If you look closely, you’ll notice the outside box says air fryer. This is what was inside……

Whereas we have a very small air fryer and I had recently said I’d wanted a bigger one…..thing is the defective item was an espresso machine-not an air fryer! So, I fired off a message to the Amazon seller along with pictures. We have never purchased an air fryer but did want our replacement espresso machine! Then, I asked how they planned to fix this! This air fryer is the biggest one their company sells and whereas this is nice, it can’t make espresso!! 🙄

We await their reply. I can say I will not pay for shipping this back, nor will I drive it to any UPS drop off point either. So, the proverbial ball is in their court! 🙄🙄🙄

We decided to go hiking early afternoon instead of later as we usually do because the weather forecast said rain would begin in earnest around 4 PM. Jan met us and we set off.

This is what the sky looked like now.

Where’s all that sunshine from earlier? Gone-apparently! As we approached this vista from Westergreen's trails, that’s when the rain began in earnest!

Tomorrow, I’ll be busy roasting coffee for my Portland customer. Hiking has not been determined just yet as it seems the floodgates have opened for the next few days and getting drenched is not on my agenda. We’re leading worship next Sunday and I prefer to not do it sick!
