A little sunshine please!
I slept the longest I think, that I’ve slept in a long, long time today! My Fitbit had registered just over 9 hours! I don’t think it’s logged that much before since I’ve been wearing one for the past 5 years. I obviously needed it as I never woke at all during the night.
We awoke to cloudy skies and rain pouring down. It was expected as that was the forecast for today. It wasn’t a big deal to me as I had 9 pounds of coffee to roast; 4 for us and 5 for our Portland customer. I set out to get it done.
I roasted 2 pounds of decaf for myself and 2 pounds of Santos beans for @silvertop as we were both coffee-less! Then I started working on the other order. I finished up around 2 PM or so. I then sat down for a bit to read a little.
Amazon had delivered some reflector type LED bulbs that work with Alexa, so I began working on those. See @silvertop’s post for more on that.
The sun had begun to peak through the clouds and it was shaping up to be a pretty afternoon for a hike. I texted Jan and we met at 4 PM to go.

The moss is so beautiful right now. So many different shades of green to see.
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow finds me headed to ladies Bible study. After that, a probable hike, weather permitting.

Hey there @silversaver888! It's the view from the off grid cabin looking west/southwest and the shiny thing is the reflection of the sun on Bellingham Bay, which we can see from this vantage point.
