The Paws Have It!.......My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2023
The paws have it! Happy Caturday!😻😽
Saturdays are lovely! I had no particular schedule to keep. We didn’t really sleep in super late-just a little. I got up showered and made us coffees. Then I took mine and read a little. I am really an avid fiction reader and at times would prefer nothing more than to curl up with a book for an entire day! I couldn’t spend the day reading but I did a little.

Eventually, @silvertop set out to plant more trees so that left me with the house all to myself. I decided to do a little cleaning and indoor gardening. I dusted and removed the runners from the hardwood flooring. I got out the special flat type mop with removable cover to spray and mop the wood floor. It looked nice when it was finished.
Then I turned to working on my indoor plants. I am starting a hydroponic project of philodendron and spider plants. The philodendron is easy but I’ve not had much luck with the spider plants. I’m not sure why as they are supposed to root easily too. Anyway, fingers crossed! 🤞
Jan is down with a bad cold, so she did not join our hike today. Here’s some eye candy for you to enjoy.

It rained a little on us as you can see from the pond photo. Here’s a maiden hair fern just beginning to emerge.
A purple bleeding heart 💜 the first one I’ve found blooming. People pay lots of money for these at the nursery and the grow prolifically wild in the forests here.
It was a nice hike.
Tomorrow will find us heading to church to run sound again. I’m looking forward to hopefully a good sermon.
It’s also supposed to rain buckets tomorrow. I hope not! There is a fair stretch of weather coming soon (so they say) and I’m hoping to get outside to garden then.

I have plants at work, and I know every Friday morning is their watering day. Home is a little harder as outdoor plants often need more than weekly watering, and if I get super busy, I will keep putting off the indoor ones. I have one particular philodendron, that when it gets droopy, I know I must water or they all will die. I really need to be retired and devote more time to propagation as I really enjoy creating new rooted babies.
You have any suggestion for an easy plant to keep alive with i can start from?
An easy one that I can keep at home!

Yes! I would suggest a philodendron as they will put up with some neglect. You can try water propagation or plant it in a pot with dirt. Let me know how it goes! Have fun with it.

Ferns are unique... I find them intriguing! What about the purple bleeding heart...be sure to take photos of it when it is in full bloom. How pretty it must be. I don't see trillium here. So many flowers!

Hey sis! The third picture of the white flower is the Trillium. Down at the creek in front of our house, we now have our own little Trillium stash, although that is not where the Trillium in the picture was. They are one of the first forest wildflowers to bloom.🤗😘💞🌸
