A Snake In The Grass!.......My Actifit Report Card: April 25 2023
A snake in the grass!🙀 More on that in a minute.
This morning found me going to ladies Bible study. Good fellowship and delving into the Word. 😇
After @silvertop got done with today’s tree planting, I made him some lunch and us each a coffee. Around 4 pm, we headed out for a hike. Jan has been sick and then today, she said she was headed to a ballgame.
We hiked up to the cabin and around to and up the High Trail. Then we descended down the Floor Trail to get a little variety of terrain. I found some pretty cool things.
Now-about that snake in the grass! We have what is called Giant Snake grass. It is a bit of a bog plant but can also be found on the sides of the road if conditions are right.
Some may also refer to this as Giant Horsetail.
Here’s another, smaller variety.
I always watch for these to poke their heads out each spring.
That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow is my Monday at work. We are overbooked as usual. I’m hoping for a smooth workweek! 🤞🙏

I came to think it was a real snake 😅 I didn't know that plant. I loved the parrot perched in the tree, overall very nice pictures. I wish that your Monday at work is indeed a peaceful one.
