HAPPY CATURDAY EVERYBODY!😻😽
Aren’t Cyle and Cot adorable? I think so but maybe I’m a bit biased, lol! Anyway, they do make me smile and if I’m stressed, I just pet a kitty. It works well. There is research I’ve read, that confirms this.
I slept fairly well but could have used another hour. 😏 I brewed espresso for us and then sat to read a bit before tackling my VR workout. It was a good time and a good workout. The doc loaded 131 programs onto it, so I will have a lot to explore over the coming months.
The rain came as predicted so we decided to go to Home Depot to pick up an order from their online store and to get a few things @silvertop needed. Unfortunately for him, he only got 2 of the 4 things on his list as they weren’t obtainable there. 🙄 Typical!
We then went to Walmart as I was in need of some shampoo and whatnot. I think it was super crowded as the rain drove people indoors. We went to lawn and garden looking for some plant hangers only to be blown away. It looked like Christmas had thrown up in there! 🙀 See @silvertop’s post for pics. We saw a man riding in one of the electric carts literally all over the store while he carried on a very loud conversation on speaker phone. I don’t get why people do speaker phone - phone calls in public, but the really interesting thing was he was NOT shopping! He was cruising at a good clip up and down the aisles just talking away. I’m guessing he might have been homeless and was trying to get out of the weather, but he was moving too fast and by using that electric cart, was possibly keeping it from someone who really needed it to shop. 😐
It’s been raining most of the day and is forecast to do so for the next 5 days. Of course, honestly I’ll believe it when I see it! The weatherman’s track record isn’t so good.

Two of her four died from malnourishment and we started feeding the remaining 2. Now they are gone. It saddens me but there's nothing we can do.

That's so sad! Hopefully the surviving two are out there foraging for themselves with Momma cat overseeing things.
Maybe the littles will return to visit you when it gets cold outside.

Yes, your kitties are very cute. Oh my gosh, that guy in Walmart sounds like a hazard! It’s hard to believe the staff just let him do that!
Thank you @jayna! I had said that if I were there as management, I would have watched him for a while to really make sure he wasn't planning on shopping and then after about 20 minutes or so, I would have said that it's apparent he wasn't shopping and that he needed to give the cart up and move on.
I see few employees anymore when we are there that would be in management, so it's unlikely they are out on the floor overseeing things. Things have definitely changed since I was in management in a Walmart some years ago!

We just came out of a 3 month dry season with no rain. Our summers are mostly dry. It's nice to have some rain, but most importantly, it's good so the ground can swell up around the tree roots hopefully before the fall wind storms arrive.
