They’re everywhere-they’re everywhere! 🙀🍄

The morning was a bit slow to start. I felt like I’d been drugged and @silvertop woke with a headache. Not a good combo for us! I’m thinking we slept too hard 😏

Once semi conscious and showered, I began setting up to do music. @silvertop joined me in the effort. We ran through a nice set and then he went to play lumberjack while I did a few house chores. Around mid afternoon, we met Jan to hike for the first time in a long time. She’s been sick and the weather and my work didn’t help. We had decided to head up to the cabin and take the High Trail to the Floor Trail and descend from there.

Oh my goodness, none of us had any idea the amount of ‘shrooms we’d find! They were everywhere!

Take a look at this next one. I found 2 of these. Looks like a chocolate muffin!

These were everywhere and made a great Halloween ‘shroom.

Each one was tinged with red like blood!

These pics are barely scratching the surface of what I took. So many ‘shrooms; so many varieties! A ‘shroom lovers heaven for sure!

The 6th photo shows one that is. They are short lived; only lasting about 3 days before turning into an inky black mess. Thanks for stopping by!

The only one that is edible that I know of is in the 6th photo. They are short lived however with only around 3 days before they turn inky black and a slimy mess. I am not a 'shroom expert, plus, honestly, I don't like to eat mushrooms; just take pictures of them.

We do have several varieties here that are edible, but I don't have any of them in the post. Thanks for stopping by and have a good week!

If only they were edible! You could add lemon and garlic, or top your burger with them, or cook mushroom soup, or sauté them with bacon, or stuff them with bacon or spinach artichokes or sausages, or add a kick of chili.....
