Are You Hunting Deer?……..My Actifit Report Card: November 20 2023

Are you hunting deer…..in the parking lot?, my son asked! I had to laugh out loud when @silvertop read me Bill’s text! You see, we had a huge change of plans for the day and ended up doing a shortened version of the shopping trip I’d had planned for tomorrow. We saw this car in Costco’s parking lot and I asked @silvertop to take a photo of it. Due to the angle of things, he took just one of the two antlers this car was sporting. He was supposed to send it to me, but somehow sent it to Bill instead. ‘No dear, we’re not hunting deer in the parking lot’.

The shopping trip for the coming week’s festivities was moved as I got a text from the doc asking me if I could work for his mom tomorrow. I didn’t want to, but I said I would. It would have been nice though if she’d thought about this day, a couple weeks ago. The best laid plans……..

So off we went just to Costco and not a couple other places I really need to go. It will have to wait for the weekend unfortunately. I don’t enjoy the crazy drivers and the excessive humanity that the weekend after Thanksgiving will bring!

After spending more than I had estimated at Costco 🙄, we went home via Lynden to the Starbucks I like the best for a pick me up mocha and latte. There were zero customers in this Starbucks and nobody in the drive thru either. Odd…..but we got quick service!😎☕️

Earlier today, I had two calls; one with my case rep for the new office software and one with a live trainer for it. Both ladies informed me I was way ahead of others who have been at the same amount of time in the training. And here I was thinking I was behind! I’m hopeful this might even be ready ahead of our projected December 28 go live date. It made me feel good for sure! 😎👍

LOL! I counted 9 houses on my way home tonight from work. I live just 5 miles out from town, but it seems farther than that.

We don't put lights up outside because where we live, no one sees them. I have tried to reason that I see them when I come home, but somehow, it hasn't inspired 'someone' to put them up, lol!
