Looky What I Got!……..My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2024

Our day began at church. It was an awesome time of worship and an awesome sermon as well. We really are enjoying our Sunday mornings there. 😇

If you’ve read any of my posts within the past 3 and a half months, you know I’ve been working quite a few hours more than what I originally signed on for. I’ve also been experiencing a sluggish computer which tends to frustrate me a lot. I might not have cared all that much, but it’s been slowly getting slower (especially in comparison to @silvertop’s new one he got Christmas of 2022). So last night he suggested I take some of the extra money I’d earned and go get a new computer. Honestly, I’d not even thought about it at all. Once he made that suggestion, I started perusing Costco online as well as Best Buy. I found the new Mac Air I wanted, but according to both online stores, there were none locally. I decided that we needed to go look in person as even calling them-I’ve often found the folks who answer the phone don’t always know what they do and don’t have.

Turns out going to Best Buy was the first and only stop we had to make! They had the one I wanted and although not the silver one, I got the starlight color and am happy with it. Here’s a pic of the display model.

It was on sale for $300 less than it would have cost me plus got a little additional discount for being a member in the Geeksquad plan. Here’s a pic of my new Mac Air

256GB storage with 8GB of Ram. It has the latest M2 chip as well. I’m looking forward to working with it!😎👍

When we got home we headed out to Westergreen’s for a hike. That first photo is of the view up top. Enjoy the following eye candy from today’s hike.

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow is a workday for me. Unfortunately I’m losing a complete off day this week. On the plus side, maybe I’ll make some headway especially on the old system. 😏
