There Is A Whole………My Actifit Report Card: June 9 2025

There is a whole another world, there!

Do you ever really see everything that is around you? You know, the really fine details of things? I’m going to say probably not. I’ll explain shortly.

Today was coffee roasting day for a customer. He needed 6 pounds and we too, needed at least one pound each roasted so I wouldn’t have to do it this coming weekend when I wouldn’t have time. So, I roasted a total of 8 pounds today. It took close to 3 hours as I prefer to roast decaf on the #1 machine and regular coffee on the #2 machine. Since my customer wanted 2 of his 6 pounds to be decaf and I needed one pound as well, the #2 machine although a bit faster had an extra pound to roast over the #1. Once done, however, we set out for a hike.

It’s still hot and muggy here although a bit cooler 😅 than yesterday. We set out to go much further than we did because we both were melting! 🥵

I stopped by the split rail fence you see in the first picture. It’s up by Keith and Lynne’s garden. As @silvertop ventured into the fenced garden, I explored my bit of split rail fencing. I found a plethora of what one might envision an alien landscape to look like! Check out the photos!

I ventured into the garden and took a few pictures there. Did you know baby apples are fuzzy?

These look like some kind of fancy dandelion, but the leaf structure is wrong. I’m not sure what flower these are.

Along the road on the way home, the roadside is graced with tiny, delicate pink, white and yellow flowers.

There are also salmon berries, but I don’t care for them as they have a bit of a bitter taste to me. They are bright red though and ‘look’ tasty!
