Hump Day……My Actifit Report Card: October 15 2025

Wednesday is Hump Day, and is also my Monday. The good news regardless of how you look at it, is that there’s just 2 days to go until the weekend! 😁

I left home this morning to head to work, but before leaving, I asked Alexa what the greenhouse temperature was. She told me 44 degrees. Cool, but not too bad. As I wound my way down South Pass to the valley floor below, I noticed signs of a frost. Pretty interesting since it wasn’t at valley floor level and usually, the valley has a frost long before anything on the hill does! I also noticed the temperature on my dashboard showing at that point, 37 degrees. A snowflake ❄️ always shows next to 37 degrees or lower. I was quite surprised!

When I got to work, here what my dash said:

I never expected that temp nor the frost either. The valley had quite a bit of it and it was cold! 🥶 I’d not worn anything but a light fleece jacket! 😳

Work was very busy and I’ve got the most ‘pending’ orders in my box that I’ve ever had! Most is due to the re-arranging of staffing at the Native American tribal office that I coordinate vision with. The gal that was re-aligned with the community health fund isn’t known for responding to phone calls or emails, and it’s causing delayed orders and inhibiting the ability for me to clear the jobs from my desk! 🙄

Anyway, I’m glad the day is done. Tomorrow, the doc is away, so hopefully, it will be a slow one and quiet!
