It’s Hump Day! ……….My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2026

My coworker is on the last legs of her journey to Mexico. She’ll be back in time to work next week. However today, she sent me the above picture of the cappuccino she was enjoying. Such artwork on a coffee-are you sure you want to drink that? A shame to destroy it! She said that the barista drew the kitty with a toothpick dipped in instant coffee! Very cool! 😎

While she was enjoying that, I was at work with a super busy day! I had 3 members from one group that always brings a ton of extra work with it. For example, not only do you have the inputting of the orders and whatnot, depending on how much insurance they have, it can lead to multiple pairs-which is good. However once the info is all entered, if the commercial insurance for the group is involved, it requires a claim edit, then printing them out on a CMS-1500 claim form. Then that form is emailed to the insurance company. If the second insurance is involved, those claims must be printed and held until the explanation of benefits comes from the first. At that time, those claims are sent in. If there was a referral involved, a copy of the medical record has to be sent via email. 😅 Then the glasses are ordered through a website outside of the regular system. It can be time consuming plus, while you’re doing all that, you get called out front to help another patient. I had three members from that group today!

Yep-I’m tired but also happy that I only have a few loose ends to take care of in the morning on a me, myself and I day! Yippee! 🤠

I am glad the day is done! Tomorrow could be slower, so I’m hopeful for that.

For the first time in what’s seems like forever, I arrived home with some daylight still in the sky! How cool is that?!
