You did well with your 6312 @actifit steps for the day! Spring here means lots and lots of bugs, and not the friendly variety! We have not had any really cold weather here and only one snow fall of about 6 inches. If we don't get a couple weeks of freezing below 28 degrees or so, the bug population will be out of control! Besides, I need snow to get my new snowshoes out for a trek up the mountain trails!

I have been thinking about picking up some snowshoes. I am happy to hear you have finally gotten some snow!
It was nice while it was here, but it was short lived. I need some SNOW! If you decide to get snowshoes, look at how the straps adjust; ratcheting ones are easy than your standard straps. You can get decent ones under $100. I've got 2 different pairs for different situations, and one set I paid $45; the other $69 and it came with poles to boot. Also, take into consideration the terrain you'll be using them in; we don't go by the weight chart simply because if you're on a narrow trail, long ones are a hindrance. Anyway, you will enjoy snowshoeing if you try it. Take care!
