Half marathon training with Actifit (eng/esp)
Today I ran a half marathon to train for the half marathon and the marathon. Maybe It's a little too much, but I really want to do it right this time.
What's right? It's up to you, it doesn't matter what's other people doing. The only important thing are your goals and do your best.
For me, the objective is to ran the marathon in less than 4 hours. In other to do that, I think I need to get my body used to a 5 min per kilometer pace.
I know, thats way faster. But I think I need to train for that pace, or at least try to be close, to achive my objective.
So today I wanted to make a long run of 21k at a relaxed pace. But as soon as I started, I realized my legs wanted to go a little faster. And I went with the flow and this was result:
Not my best or my maximum effort, but I think it was pretty good for a training session.
What do you think?
NOTE: I put pictures of places of the route, but I took those pictures other day.
Hoy corrí un medio maratón como entrenamiento para correr el medio maratón y el maratón de la Ciudad de México. Quizás sea demasiado, pero esta vez lo quiero hacer bien.
¿Qué es hacerlo bien? Pues depende de cada quien. La verdad no importa lo que los demás hagan. Lo importantes es tratar de lograr tus objetivos y hacer tu mejor esfuerzo.
Para mi el objetivo es correr el maratón en menos de 4 horas. Para poder lograr esto, yo pienso que tengo que tratar de acostumbrar a mi cuerpo a mantener un ritmo de 5 min/km.
Yo se que es mucho mas rápido del ritmo que necesito, pero siento que necesito entrenar para este ritmo para poder lograr mi objetivo.
Así que hoy salí teniendo en mente hacer un entrenamiento largo de 21 km a ritmo relajado. Pero desde que comencé a correr me sentí con mejor ritmo, asi que segui con un ritmo medio y esto fue lo que salió.
No es mi record personal ni mi máximo esfuerzo pero creo que es muy buen tiempo para un entrenamiento.
Ustedes que opinan?
