Chelsea's first loss under Thomas tuchel

It's been a fantastic season so far for the blues with their fantastic performance of this season's premier league campaign under Thomas Tuchel winning four games then a draw in their last five games.

However, that good record was cut short as they were defeated at home to a strong Manchester city side at Stamford bridge losing the game by 1nil to Pep Guadiola's men.


It was a hard fought battle as either team had opportunity to score but man city were the better side when Gabriel Jesus scored for the visitors to claim 3points away from home.


The two clubs however, met in the last champions league final with Chelsea claiming the title with a 1nil victory to lift their second champions league trophy in history.

The 'citizens' beat a stubborn Chelsea side in their Premier League game at Stamford Bridge to end their three consecutive losses against the London club.

Chelsea showed some attacking threat but Manchester city defence was hard to crack and the blues failed to score in several attempt.

It was a big blow for Chelsea as James Reece was forced out of the game after struggling with injury and was replaced by Thiago Silva.


The dreadlock was broken as Brazilian player Gabriel Jesus scored for the away side to secure victory in the 53rd minute to claim all 3points after their draw against Southampton in their previous game.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have now lost their unbeaten record in all competitions under the manager this season.
