SAMUEL ETO'O declares his intention to run for office of the president football governing body of Cameroon
Samuel Eto'o on Wednesday 17th Nov, 2021 been yesterday submitted his bid for the cameroonian football federation presidency,
Accompanied by a very large crowd Eto’o was convinced that he will certainly win this year’s election, driven by his passion for the game and the experience he had over the years, he will be able to turn around The averse effect of football poor management in cameroon and for seeing the forth coming tournament to be held in Cameroon a lot need to be done and must be put in place to ascertained the success of the AFRICANS CUP OF NATIONS
He told pressmen that he will definitely win despite the cheating
According to him the current administration had offered him a chance as vice president which he turned down,
he says he see’s the need to restructure the cameroonian football governing body by bringing new structure of administration to the system, especially now that cameroon are set to host the CAF AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS that was delayed due to the covid 19 pandemic,
Recall that the match was originally planned to be played on june-july of 2021, but due to forecasted unfavorable climatic condition CAF on Jan.15 2020 reschedule the match to be played on the first two months of 2021, that’s 9th Jan-6Feb.,
it was further rescheduled due to The aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic
on 30th june CAF announces that it has moved the tournament to begin on Jan of 2022 back to its original schedule
