SECOND JOG OF THE YEAR

Me after about 20 minutes of jogging.

The festivities characterizing the celebration of Christmas and the New Year were very merry indeed. They featured a whole lot of eating and drinking, typically more than the average amount that people would normally consume. A lot of people were also not working and led sedentary lifestyles in this period.

A combination of these two factors have contributed to the extra amount of fat and weight that I have put on in the past couple of weeks, as I am sure you most likely have also.😂💀

This year I plan to really work on myself, all aspects of myself. For the body aspect, I am going to engage in one form of physical activity or the other every single day till the end of the year. I started yesterday and it feels quite good, if not in the moment, in the aftermath.

The interesting thing is that it doesn't have to be something outdoors and too difficult. Doing 20 pushups or situps or squats in your room before having your bath in the morning and heading out is something substantial. Even going for a swim counts, or cycling, or other form of exercise. But as much as possible, I plan to honor this deal with myself and be physically active throughout the year.

This was the playlist that was softly ringing in my ears as I was going along on the road.

Happy New Year to y'all, and stay healthy and fit.

You are already taking the bull by the horns. Haha. That's a nice start for the year and you seem to be very determined.

GoodLuck on this. Don't miss a day. Hehe
