In this hypothetical variation of a game of my own, Black did not resolve the opening problems and, after the seemingly harmless Qa4, tried b5 to continue with Nbd7. How can White positionally frustrate all these ideas? Yes, it is a matter of understanding rather than calculation. The truth is that Black is in a terrible position, even if it is not immediately apparent.
