Hello friends of this wonderful community, here is Enzo Larsson and today I will tell you my opinion about the matches that will take place in the round of 16 of the Champions League, after the draw carried out just a few hours ago.

I will start with the match between the Norwegian team Bodo Glint against Sporting Lisbon from Portugal. If we go back in history, the Portuguese team has more opportunities in European competitions than its rival, and in terms of squad, despite the fact that they no longer have Gyokeres, they maintain a good team, where former Barcelona player Trincao stands out. Sporting had an excellent first round and qualified directly, however Bodo have defeated City, Atlético and Inter Milan in their last games, three very powerful clubs; so I give them a slight favoritism of 55% to 45% over the Lusitanians.

The best team in the first phase, the undefeated Arsenal, will face a Leverkusen, currently very unstable in terms of its level of play and results, but like any German team, it is always owed respect. It is no longer Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen, and they have lost many of those players, but they keep a dangerous scorer like the Czech Patrick Chick. I give them a 60 to 40 in favor of the gunboats.

A very striking duel will be held between the French PSG (current champion) and Chelsea, who defeated them in the club World Cup final. From my point of view, neither of them is living their best moment, although the dismissal of Maresca as head of Chelsea generates more uncertainty about what this club could do against such a difficult rival. I lean towards the Parisians as favorites by a narrow 55% to 45% over the English.

Without a doubt, the most anticipated confrontation of all will be (again) that of Real Madrid against Manchester City. I don't understand how it has been possible that chance has always imposed this duel, but in any case it will be two exciting matches. Giving a favorite in this crossing is a Nostradamus thing, due to the parity in football power that these clubs have. The Madridistas have more history on their shirt, and perhaps City is going through a better moment this season than the "merengues", but when there are players like Mbappe, Bellingham or Vinicius, anything can happen. I give a 50% to 50% chance of victory for each one.

Tomorrow I will return with the remaining pairings, which left me with excellent duels to analyze.
