Bine on the run

@ervin-lemark just finished a 4.07km run, that lasted for 29 minutes.
This run helped ervin-lemark burn 325.0 calories.

Description from Strava: After coming hone from the office, I immediately changed into a running gear and went for a run. Bine, our black Vojvodina shepherd dog accompanied me. We went into the forest for a short and easy 4 kilometers run. I hope he enjoyed it. It is quite warm again and the shade in the woods was welcoming.

Bine is not a cannicross runner, he doesn't pull. Half of the run he is actually pulling back and trying to convince me to take the turn back home.

After we really turn back, he immediately realizes this and starts running somewhat faster and a step in front of me. Still, no pulling.

I don't have any high hoper for him to turn into a racer. We will keep to recreational pace at all times.

I think it’s good to keep a recreational pace, if Bine want to be a racer, it has to be from him, but something is certain, as far as Bine involve in running in most days, he will become a racer.

I assume dogs need to be trained to be good at cannicross, but they need to want to do it. I see a few dogs at parkrun, but people are not allowed to use the waist harnesses to reduce risks of tripping up others.

We just have a cat and I'm not sure she would run with me.

yes, special breeds and special training. and cannicross events are limited to some 5K tops because dogs run at full speed all the distance. you need to limit/protect them somehow.

it's really hard to keep up with these dogs and a runner needs to be in top form !INDEED

no, cats are not allowed, for several reasons !LOLZ
