This workout is for my dear running friend, @toofasteddie :)

Wednesday evening, acrobatics training for my son and an hour and a half of spare time for me.

I went to the stadium and did some laps on the track. Since I don't follow any training program, all this was an improvisation. It turned out to be a progressive pace run, twenty laps from steady over day pace to the goal pace.

Kilometer times were from 5:37 down to 4:44. A nice effort.

It was also interesting to run almost in the dark. At first, the track was lit from the neighboring houses and their living room lights. Later, when it got really dark, a huge reflector switched on at the main stadium building to light the track partially. It was fun to watch my shadow change angles and lengths as I went around the track.

After the track workout, I ran back to the gym at an easy pace. Overall, the pace was still well under 5:30 which was great.

An unplanned tempo workout.

Cover photo was taken at Lake Zbilje this summer and has nothing to do with the run.

It makes me laugh the fact that you run and look at your shadow, i am do that too when I exercise at night ha ha ha ha, I was thinking that maybe i am getting old man and I had nothing else to do but see my shadow ha ha ha, I'm not the only one who does this and I think that many do it too but they don't say it, you and I do ha.ha.ha.

how are you dear friend @ ervin-lemark good night
What a great exercise job, and a good time manager, you have made good use of the time, while you were waiting for your son to leave his training routine. Congratulations
have a wonderful night

Thanks. I was keeping pace on a feeling, not looking at the watch. It's interesting how consistently progressive you can be without the help of technology.

Have a great day.
