Bistrica

My first run in DOmžale this year, up and down by the beautiful river Kamniška Bistrica.

I parked by the stadium and took the path downriver.

The river is as green as the bushes and trees that surround it.

There is a wide and gentle hiking path by the river. It is inviting and calling you to go for a run.

A view back at the river from the bridge at the turning point.

On the top part of today's run, there is this beautiful park. A big thank you to the municipal services for keeping the path and the green areas by it extremely well-groomed and clean.

The run was a day pace with three brief stops. The last full kilometer was at goal pace, at 4:40 with the cool down at the end. The weather was windy with a promise of an early summer storm. There were some heavy, sparse, and warm raindrops. They were welcome since I was wet anyway.

Tomorrow? More of the same!

It is quite beautiful....no wonder your pace was quite fast. Such aesthetic value deserves a good run to sink in

It is. It's an additional pleasure and motivation to run in such an environment.

Nice run! And it's nice to be outside with a light rain; it can be very refreshing.

As long as it isn't a cold rain with strong wind, yes :)

Have a great Friday.
