around Kočevje
Weekend trip to Kočevje and its lake. Sunday morning run from the lake to the city and around. It is always fun to discover new places even when they are urban. It is interesting to see and greet people on their morning chores.
Since I left the phone in the RV there are no photos from the run. For the report I will use those I took on Saturday.
It's a small lake where once the coal mine was. It's great for bathing and other recreational activities. There are plenty of opportunities for a hike, run or cycling trip in the vicinity.

Kočevje is an intriguing city with history to tell. Next time I am here I'll take more photos of city itself.
The goal this morning was to run flat 10 K in a steady pace.

That old coal building looks pretty neat. From the angle you took the picture it looks like it might fall over.
Yes, the construction has an awkward angle at the base. Who knows why? :)
