real autumn run

It's raining as it is supposed to in autumn. Gone are the last days of pronged summer. After this rain stops, in a day or two, it will be cold all day.

I caught this fire-lizard on an afternoon doggy walk in the forest. It was speeding away from under our feet. No photos during the run in rain.

I dressed up to the occasion. Short sweat undershirt with a rain vest above it. Long tights, strong shoes. It was almost cold enough for the gloves. Luckily it stopped raining hard and I was running in a drizzle for good four kilometers.

That's a cool lizard. We get some little ones around here, but I've never seen a live one. It is that time of year when the weather can do anything. So far I've been fairly lucky. Hope it doesn't hamper your running.

Hey, thanks for the visit.

Yesterday, while on the doggy walk, we met at least twelve of these little dragons. They come out with the rain in the spring and autumn.

No, it's OK. I just have to dress appropriately.

You get used to it quickly. It's just the change of the season that finally came :)
