[ESP/ENG] Ya están los primeros equipos clasificados a los Juegos Olímpicos de Voleibol Femenino

Terminaron las primeras batallas de los equipos del voleibol femenino y ya están los siete primeros equipos de los doce que participarán en los Juegos Olímpicos París 2024. En estas competiciones se clasificaron dos equipos por cada uno de los tres torneos clasificatorios y se sumaron a Francia que está clasificado al ser el país sede de los juegos multideportivos.

Según previó la Federación Internacional los cinco restantes equipos que completarán los 12 protagonistas del voleibol femenino en París saldrán del ranking final que arroje la etapa clasificatoria de la Liga de Naciones del 2024.

Fueron torneos muy reñidos y en mi opinión estos tres torneos fueron un adelanto de lo que tendremos en los juegos olímpicos del próximo año.

Por el grupo A se clasificaron Serbia que es el equipo campeón mundial actual y República Dominicana.

Gran alegría siento como mujer caribeña que, en ausencia de mi selección cubana estén las chicas de la tierra dominicana. Esta es una selección que está entre las mejores del mundo y lo demostró al derrotar a una de las fuertes selecciones de Europa y el mundo como los Países Bajos. República Dominicana se ha nutrido mucho del voleibol cubano ya que los que comenzaron a tejer los actuales triunfos de este equipo fueron entrenadores cubanos.

La selección de Serbia demostró por qué es la campeona del mundo y desplegó toda su fuerza para garantizar su participación olímpica en la que saldrá como favorita a la medalla de oro.

En el grupo B garantizaron su viaje a la capital francesa las selecciones de Turquía y Brasil.

La selección de Turquía sigue demostrando que su título en la Liga de Naciones no fue casual y ganó su boleto a París 2024 de manera invicta. En esta selección juega la cubana Melissa Vargas quien se ha convertido en líder del equipo. Si hay un equipo que puede aspirar a la medalla dorada y derrotar a las serbias es este.

Turquía posee una tremenda fuerza en el ataque y el bloqueo, con jugadoras alta que han avanzado mucho en la calidad de su juego y son un serio aspirante a la corona olímpica.

El otro clasificado es un habitual en las principales
competiciones del voleibol mundial: Brasil. Las cariocas se han mantenido durante varios años en la cima del voleibol mundial. Todavía recuerdo la gran rivalidad con nuestras morenas del caribe y la similitud de su juego con el nuestro. Este equipo posee una excelente defensa que la complementa con la fuerza de sus rematadoras y su juego rápido y de combinaciones.

Mientras que los dos últimos cupos los garantizaron Estados Unidos y Polonia que mandaron en el grupo C.

En este grupo, al igual que en los otros la batalla fue muy intensa y se quedó fuera Italia, uno de los equipos favoritos o, al menos, tendrá que ganar su clasificación en la etapa preliminar de la Liga de Naciones del próximo año.

Estados Unidos demostró su fuerza y calidad y por qué desde hace años ocupa una de las tres posiciones en el ranking mundial. Esta selección no tuvo piedad y alcanzó la clasificación sin mayores problemas. No se puede decir lo mismo de Polonia quien tuvo que derrotar a Italia para asegurarse un cupo en la fiesta olímpica del próximo año.

Por el momento, ya está más de la mitad de los equipos que participarán en París 2024. En este listado se deben incluir equipos como China, Italia, Japón y Países Bajos.

Por nuestra área geográfica veremos lo que son capaces de hacer países como México y Argentina para tratar de unirse a los otros equipos del área que ya tienen boleto asegurado a la también llamada “ciudad luz”.

The first battles of the women's volleyball teams are over and the first seven of the twelve teams that will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have already qualified.
