Today's weather is so wonderful for everyone to have witnessed the game between Manchester united and crystal palace in the Melbourne cricket ground stadium.

It kicked started with a great turn of fans to witness the game and of course the players where all ready for action.

Match statistics

United played with a formation of 4-2-3-1 and crystal palace used 4-3-3 in playing against the Red devil's.

Man united had 14 shots with 7 on target and on the other side crystal palace had 13 shots total and 5 was on target.

The ball possession was a massive one for united with 65% on the ball and having a total of 535 passes with 88% accuracy.

The opponent had 35% of the ball possession and 287 passes with 76% of accurate passes which shows that the little the had the opportunity to do with the ball was dangerous up front for united to defend.

United committed 9 fouls and had no yellow card except for a heartbreaking minutes of the game where W. Fish was sent off for a big foul he played in the 84th minutes of the game.

Crystal palace committed 12 fouls and had 2 yellow cards and no red card for them. United had 5 corner kicks and place had 6 corner kicks in the united half.

But both teams where offside just once to show they are really taking care of the counter attack and playing with defenders intelligence when it comes to putting the striker offside.

Goals

The game ended in a 3-1 score line I. Favor of he red devils ( Manchester united). The first goal of the game came in the 17 minutes with the united no.9 hitting hard on palace to find the back of the net.
With a beautiful assist from Dalot.

Then in the second half just 3 minutes after kick off Marcus Rashford netted the ball in the 48 minutes but surprisingly man united were not done yet.

As there was also another goal just 11 minutes after the second goal. This time around Sancho nailed it ad sealed the scoring line for the game.

Although Palace pulled one back in the 79 minutes but there wasn't any other way to pulled a last minute stunner in the game.

Best of luck to united in the coming season if they can keep this pressure going and look forward to the champions league next season.
