'You love money more than i do' - Aubameyang to Watzke
Players leave their clubs for reasons known to them. Many factors determine a player's move. It could be lack of playing time, lack of trust from the coach, money or pure happiness.
It is not new to see players you think would remain at a club leave before your eyes. A clear example was Alex Iwobi's move from Arsenal to Everton.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Borussia Dortmund in year 2018 to Arsenal, a move which many Arsenal faithfuls are grateful for.
Unfortunately, Aubameyang's former club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke accused the Gabonese international of leaving Borussia Dortmund for Arsenal because of money.
In what seems to be an unusual response from a player to his a club boss, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave his CEO a wow response for saying he left for money.
Hans-Joachim Watzke made headlines earlier this week by accusing the Arsenal forward of chasing money in his move to Arsenal
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not find the comment funny as he took a fine jab against his former CEO with a classic tweet:
From the above, Aubameyang referred to Ousmane Dembele's 2017 €105million transfer move from Dortmund to Barcelona. Clearly, he was telling his CEO to check himself before pointing fingers.
