How To Fight Burnout

I think good first steps to break the circle are on the one hand to first reject and minimize your responsibilities and commitments as much as possible for a short while.

You need to take a break to recover your energy and spirit to avoid burning out, at which point you'd be knocked out for much longer.
Maybe you can take a week of vacation, or you can free up some appointments that aren't strictly necessary, or delegate responsibility for a project to someone else. If you're studying, perhaps it's an option to pause that for a semester and perhaps take a small job somewhere in the meantime, which doesn't stress you out that much, and offers some variety.

On the other hand, you'll have to learn to really actively not do work. Procrastination usually means that you avoid a task, while thinking that you should do it, causing feelings of guilt, shame and inadequacy, even while you're doing something that would otherwise be fun. That negates the relaxing and refreshing effects of those activities, leaving you constantly drained and in a bad mood, being stuck in a spiral of self reinforcing anxiety and helplessness.

The best way to fight burnout is to become active and take back control. This can start by actively deciding to do nothing and to reserve time for a hobby or whatever. Reassure yourself that it's okay to take this break, and to not worry about work for a moment, because you will get to that later, but right now you have some time and space for yourself.
Then later you can also maybe regain more control over how and when you do your work. Maybe you can adapt the processes better to your needs, mix things up by working at a different place or time.
Recognize that you can make decisions and are not always just being dragged behind by others who tell you what you have to do.

At least those are all things that helped me getting better over time. Still not everything is great and there are ups and downs.
