Can it be that Basketball Classics is the best game ever made?

Basketball classics is a game that hasn´t really been making a stir recently, I see no reason to. Given the lack of marketing effort made by its producers.

It´s a cute little "niche" / “nostalgic” game, and as such, it really punches in all the right boxes.

Is it amazing?

Well yes!

Does it give you that feeling in your gut and balls when you are making a three-pointer with Reggie Miller with seconds left on the clock?

It does!

And that is what is amazing about Basketball Classics 2.0.
As dead as you can get on the inside after a trauma-ridden life, dependent on stimulants and downers alike, not really feeling anything without hard drugs.

Basketball Classics still delivers, I even got that sweet nostalgic rush of excitement as I shot what would have been a game-winning 3 pointer as formerly named Reggie Miller against the Orlando Magic.

That basket didn't hit, and I am now 2 games into the season, without a win. I however committed myself to finish at least the season to make a decent review.

Facing San Antonio for a third game, Eythorphoto seems to have gotten a hang of winning the game. Unfortunately, my Miller three-pointers weren't a great overall strategy, although their presence is a necessity for beautiful and enjoyable gaming experience!

Slam Dunks seems to be the name of the game here! And Eythorphoto did just that Dunk the heck out of the San Antonians ending in a 20 to 14 Victory!

Overall Thoughts about the game

Have you ever fantasized about being Larry Bird the Boston Celtics sex charm and NBA superstar?

Well, now you can, again!

NBA Classics was a much-needed product to a hungry market of grown men-boys who still remember the rush of 8-bit gaming and don't get that same rush anyplace else in the world except with the intravenous injection of illegal substances!

Quenching this thirst, Basketball Classics takes you back to the era of Charles Barkley, the guy that got aids and the Utah Jazz duo with “The Postman” and his white sidekick,whose name is at this moment completely stolen from me!

I realized I have seen enough of this game after these three matches to give it a 5 out of 5-star review, not claiming it “the greatest",” but surely “ amongst the greatest” games ever made!
