An empire is a group or an extensive group of state, region or country and even businesses that ruled or governed by one person. They have a central leadership.

This is why you hear things like a person wants to build an empire that will last for years to come. These days, an empire is often referred to in the business sense or maybe the acquisition of properties in various areas. This is because there are no lands to conquer or territories to expand through conquest like the old days.

Building an empire is not an easy task, so also is maintaining it because empires are hard to manage. A new empire never ends, they rise and fall and yet another rise again. The circle never ends.
